Whichever effect you choose
Lavender to settle, eucalyptus to clear, citrus to lift. It's the one massage where the outcome is decided before we begin.

The one treatment on our menu where you choose. Before we start we pick the essential oil together based on how you arrive: lavender if you need to settle, eucalyptus if you're congested or heavy, citrus if what you're missing is energy. The massage is the same; the effect isn't.
Smell is the only sense that reaches the emotional brain without a filter first.
Sight, hearing and touch pass first through the thalamus, which acts as a relay station. Smell doesn't: its signals go straight to the limbic system, the part of the brain handling emotion and memory. That's why a scent can shift your mood before you've even identified it.
Modern aromatherapy was formalised in 1930s France, when the chemist René-Maurice Gattefossé documented the properties of essential oils. Here two routes work at once: absorption through the skin during the massage, and continuous inhalation throughout the session.

With eucalyptus or mint, sustained inhalation throughout the session eases congestion and that heavy-headed feeling.
Essential oils are diluted in a vegetable carrier oil, which nourishes deeply as well as carrying the active compound.
The fastest-acting of them all: scent works from the first minute, before the body has even begun to relax.
Essential oils are active substances, not perfume. If any of these apply, tell us when booking: often it's simply a matter of changing oil, but that's better decided beforehand than on the table.

We decide together when you arrive, based on how you're feeling. Lavender to calm and sleep better, eucalyptus or mint if you're congested or heavy-headed, citrus like orange or grapefruit if what you need is energy and lift. No need to decide in advance.
We can use a very low dilution or choose a neutral oil. You could also take the Kohorelax, which uses warm botanical oils without a pronounced aroma.
With eucalyptus it does help congestion, yes. But if you have a fever or an active infection, better to wait: massage moves the circulation and this isn't the moment. Out of respect for other clients, coming in with something contagious isn't a good idea either.
Excess is removed at the end, but it's best not to come in delicate or light-coloured clothing. The aroma stays on the skin for several hours, which for many people is part of the appeal.
Not this one. Several essential oils are not advised in pregnancy, especially in the first trimester. We have a dedicated prenatal massage designed for that.
60 minutes (€80) is the most common and covers the full body. 30 minutes (€50) works well to focus on back and neck with the scent effect. 90 minutes (€110) for the full experience.
