Release across legs, back and shoulders
Kneading combined with thumb pressure works the usual load-bearing areas without reaching the intensity of deep tension release.

Thumb and palm pressure, gentle stretching, and frangipani and sandalwood oils. Bali sits at the crossroads of Indian Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine routes, and its massage reflects that: it takes the energetic reading of one and the sustained pressure of the other.
For centuries Bali was an obligatory stop between India and China. Its massage inherited everything.
The island's position on the trade routes made it a meeting point of medical traditions. Balinese massage combines Chinese-derived acupressure, the energy-point reading of Indian Ayurveda, and the kneading techniques of the archipelago itself.
In Bali it remains an everyday family practice rather than a tourist product: it's passed down at home and used for common complaints. The frangipani and sandalwood oils aren't decorative — they've been part of local tradition long before spas existed.

Frangipani and sandalwood have a strongly marked aromatic presence. It's one of the treatments people remember most by its scent.
Tropical oils are particularly rich and absorb well, leaving the skin noticeably nourished.
Unhurried rhythm, intense aroma and constant pressure combine into an escapist effect few massages achieve.
Frangipani and sandalwood carry a strong aromatic load. If intense scents give you headaches or you have asthma, tell us: the concentration can be reduced or another treatment chosen.

Both are done on a table with oil at medium intensity. The difference is emphasis: Thai Oil comes from the Thai tradition and weights acupressure and stretching more heavily; Balinese is more enveloping, more kneading-based, and vastly more aromatic.
Yes, quite. Frangipani and sandalwood are powerful, persistent aromas that stay on the skin for hours. It's part of the appeal, but if you're scent-sensitive, say so when booking and we reduce the concentration.
Medium intensity. There's real kneading and thumb pressure, so you feel muscular work, but it doesn't reach the demand of deep tension release or traditional Thai.
60 minutes (€80) is the most common. 90 minutes (€110) if you want full body unhurried and to make the most of the sensory side. 30 minutes falls short for this one.
We work with oil on the skin, so clothing is removed from the area being massaged. You stay covered with towels except for that area, and underwear stays on.
Excess is removed at the end, but it's best not to come in delicate or light-coloured clothing. The aroma stays on the skin for several hours.
