De-swollen legs and ankles
The number one reason people book it and the most visible effect. The difference in volume is usually noticeable by the end of the session.

The gentlest treatment on our whole menu, and the one that surprises people most for it. Very light, rhythmic circular movements that stimulate the nodes to move retained fluid. If you're expecting to be pressed hard, this isn't your massage: here firm pressure would be counterproductive.
The lymphatic system has no pump: it depends on movement to circulate.
Blood is moved by the heart. Lymph, by contrast, has no organ driving it: it circulates thanks to muscular contraction and breathing. That's why hours spent sitting, standing or on a plane cause it to pool in the legs and ankles.
The method was developed by the Vodders in France in the 1930s, and their finding was counterintuitive: lymphatic vessels sit just beneath the skin and are extremely fine. Firm pressure collapses them rather than emptying them. That's why the correct technique is almost imperceptible.

The sense of loaded legs at the end of the day, typical of long hours standing or sitting without moving.
Hours of immobility on a plane cause fluid retention in the limbs. It's one of the best plans for the day after landing.
Mobilising interstitial fluid supports waste elimination. You'll notice you urinate more for the rest of the day: that's the sign it worked.
Important: what we offer is wellness and aesthetic drainage, not clinical treatment of lymphoedema. If you have diagnosed lymphoedema or have had surgery involving lymph node removal, you need a specialised physiotherapist. Tell us and we'll advise you honestly, even if that means not booking with us.

Because it has to be. Lymphatic vessels sit just under the skin and are extremely fine: pressing hard collapses them and the drainage stops working. Barely feeling it is a sign the technique is correct, not that the therapist isn't working.
It doesn't reduce weight: what decreases is volume from retained fluid, not fat. On cellulite it can improve appearance by reducing associated retention, but it doesn't eliminate it. We'd rather say this plainly than sell it otherwise.
For one-off retention — a flight, a heatwave, a long day — a single session already shows. If swelling is habitual, a course of 6 to 10 consecutive sessions, twice weekly, then maintenance, is what works.
You need your oncologist's clearance, without exception. This isn't a formality: drainage mobilises the lymphatic system and is contraindicated in some oncological contexts. If your doctor approves, we adapt the session.
For legs and ankles, 30 minutes (€50) already works well. 60 minutes (€80) allows abdomen and arms too. The technique is slow by definition, so more time means more ground covered.
Yes, that's the expected effect and a good sign. Drink water through the day to support the process and go easy on salt in the hours that follow.
