Body Exfoliation & Renewal

Mineral salts and botanical oils applied with gentle circular friction to lift away dead cells, followed by a hydrating anointing. It's the treatment with the most immediate physical result: you feel the difference before you leave the room.

What it is and where it comes from

Skin renews itself every 28 days. The problem is what gets left behind.

The outermost layer of the epidermis renews continuously, but with age, cold weather or lack of hydration, dead cells take longer to shed. They accumulate, and the result is that rough texture and dull tone no cream quite fixes.

Salt exfoliation is among the oldest techniques there is — documented in Egypt and in Roman thermal baths — and its logic hasn't changed: mechanically lift that layer so the hydration that follows reaches living skin instead of sitting on top.

What you'll feel

Soft skin from the first minute

The most immediately visible treatment on our menu. You don't have to wait for the difference in texture: it's there when you finish.

Hydration that actually penetrates

With the dead-cell layer lifted, whatever cream or oil you use at home over the following days absorbs far better.

Prepares skin for the sun

A tan takes more evenly and lasts longer on exfoliated skin. That's why it's the most booked before holidays.

Boosts circulation

Circular friction stimulates surface microcirculation, which shows as better tone and a feeling of lightness.

Who it's for — and who should check first

Especially good if you

  • Are about to be in the sun or going on holiday
  • Notice rough skin, especially on legs and arms
  • Are changing season and your skin is suffering
  • Are due to wax or apply self-tan in the coming days
  • Want your creams to stop sitting on the surface
  • Want a pleasant treatment with a visible result

Talk to us first if you

  • Have sunburn, wounds, cuts or grazes
  • Have psoriasis, eczema or a dermatitis flare-up
  • Have very thin, reactive skin or couperose
  • Have waxed within the last 24 hours
  • Have tattoos less than a month old
  • Are on dermatological treatment with retinoids or acids

On irritated skin, exfoliation makes things worse rather than better. If you have any active skin condition, it's better to wait or choose a friction-free massage.

Frequently asked questions

Does it sting or scratch?

No. We use fine salts blended with oil, so the friction is soft and gliding rather than abrasive. It feels like pleasant warmth and light tingling. On irritated skin it would be uncomfortable, which is why we ask beforehand.

How many days before the beach should I do it?

Two to three days ahead is ideal. It gives the skin time to settle and a tan takes more evenly. Don't do it the same day you'll be in the sun: freshly exfoliated skin is more sensitive.

Does it include massage or is it just the scrub?

Both: the exfoliation with circular friction, and a final hydrating anointing applied with massage strokes. It isn't a therapeutic massage, but it isn't only scrubbing either.

How often should I have it?

Once a month is enough for most people. Exfoliating more often can irritate and disturb the skin barrier. In winter, or if your skin is dry, every six weeks.

Can I combine it with another massage?

Yes, and it's the best option if you have time. Exfoliation leaves the skin prepared, so any oil massage afterwards is better absorbed. Message us on WhatsApp to combine durations.

Do I need to shower afterwards?

Salt residue is removed in the room, so you can leave straight away. Many prefer to shower at home a few hours later to get the most out of the hydrating oil.
